SALACHRAN is our family cottage set off the road and fenced securely to keep sheep out and small children in! We have recently extended into the adjoining barn, providing a spacious kitchen/dining room and three new bedrooms as well as a second bathroom with disabled-access shower. A new sun-room affords panoramic views west to Staffa and the Treshnish Isle sunset, and north to the dramatic Burg headland.

ACCOMMODATION

Living room - with Colour TV, VCR, radio / CD player / DVD.  Wood/coal burning stove is great for winter breaks (coal provided).

Kitchen / Dining room - fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher.

Sun Lounge - West-facing, a fabulous place to spend the evening, watching the sun setting and observing hen harriers and buzzards....or venture out to marvel at the stars!

2 Bathrooms - equipped with electric showers, one with disabled access (no bath).

4 Bedrooms - two with king size beds, one with twin beds, one with bunk beds. Two additional foam folding beds for children are available - (bring own sleeping bags). Travel cot - please request - bring own bedding

Porch - with washing-machine, tumble-dryer , indoor drying facilities

Conservatory / Sun Lounge off the kitchen

HEATING

Wood/coal burning stove in living-room. Electric heaters. Immersion water heater.

No extra charge for fuel or electricity.

LINEN

Bed linen is supplied.

Please bring your own towels and dishtowels.

There is ample parking for vehicles.
